Europe Moves Closer To Mobile Payments
While there are plenty of stories about technology for using your mobile phone as a wallet in Asia (and a few attempts in North America) regulatory problems in Europe have slowed the technology down there (though, there are still some efforts under way). However, the European commission is "easing restrictions" on electronic cash, potentially opening up the market quite a bit.
