Nokia Sued Over Someone Else's Exploding Batteries?
Stories of Nokia phones exploding are nothing new -- though, in almost every case so far, it's been shown that the culprit has been a counterfeit battery. We've complained in the past that Nokia has been rather insensitive to reports of exploding phones. Even if it isn't their fault, they should be a bit more sensitive to the problem. However, that doesn't mean they deserve to get sued over what does not appear to be their problem. It's important to remember that batteries are basically mini-bombs -- and a badly made one can certainly explode.
