Mobile Service Costs Not All That Different Across The Country
While this article focuses on which places are "the most expensive" for mobile phone service in the US, what's more interesting is the fact that the difference from highest ($45.47) to lowest ($39.54) really isn't that different. The average is actually quite close to the high: $44.13. This suggests that most areas are pretty close to that, and even the low (in Sacramento) is something of an outlier. On the whole, it sounds like no matter where you go in the US, you should expect to pay about the same -- which makes sense. These days, national plans are pretty standard across the board.
