My Favorite Cheap ISP: Linksys And Default
A little amusing aside here. Any of us who travel around a fair bit have learned the power of seeing an SSID that reads "linksys" or "default" knowing that it's likely to be a totally wide open WiFi AP that we can jump on for a quick internet connection fix. Amusingly, Broadband Reports points out that in a discussion on "cheap" ISPs, someone notes how "Linksys" is his cheap ISP of choice: "My ISP, "Linksys", is said to have nationwide presence, and best of all, their service is free! They are Wi-Fi only, however; look around, they might be servicing your neighborhood."
