Maybe Cingular Wasn't Quite Ready To Launch The Treo 650
Cingular's launch of the Treo 650 was delayed a few times before it finally came out last week. However, it's looking like perhaps they should have delayed a little bit more. At least enough time to train their sales and customer support people on what was being offered and to make sure that the information on their own website doesn't completely contradict itself. Instead, we get stories of people being told completely ridiculous things (such as that they need to get a certain service plan that others insist doesn't exist any more, and rebates that don't seem to exist unless your on the non-existant plan) and that identical plans give you completely different features -- even to the point that an "unlimited" plan may be very, very limited.
