No Phones, Thanks To A Racy Conversation
There have been plenty of stories about places that have decided to ban mobile phones for one reason or another, however this one may be a first. A restaurant in Portugal is banning all mobile phones -- not because of the general annoyance of phones in the restaurant, but because someone ended up having a "racy" conversation over a phone while in the restaurant. Apparently, whatever he was saying was so... interesting, that the rest of the restaurant stopped to listen, and the guy pretty much forgot he was in a public place (or so the owner claims). Of course, some people might say that this sort of thing could make the restaurant more popular. Either way, the owner has decided that there will be no more mobile phones allowed, just in case this sort of thing were to happen again.
