SBC, Yahoo... Wireless?
SBC and Yahoo announced that they'll be extending their DSL agreement to the wireless space, via SBC's part ownership of Cingular. It's an interesting way for Yahoo to get themselves into the mobile world, but is it really that big a benefit? Do people care that they get Yahoo that way? Right now, plenty of people who have SBC Yahoo DSL don't really care at all about the Yahoo part. They have a connection, and they can go wherever they want with it. Why should things be any different in the mobile world?
