Cheap WiFi In Europe?!?
Could it be? Following yet another story about problems with European WiFi could it be that BT is getting the message? It looks like they're at least trying to copy a bit of SBC's plan to use cheap WiFi to keep DSL customers. While SBC will now charge $3/month for DSL customers to use their WiFi network, BT is going to experiment with a £1 per month fee for a few months. After that, it will move up to £5 per month -- which certain beats the £6 per hour they like to charge now.
