Swatch SPOT -- Microsoft Keeps Trying
While most everyone has realized that Microsoft's SPOT watches are going absolutely nowhere (really, really fast), Microsoft continues to insist there's a market for watches that (for a fee) can get the standard news/sports/weather/stock data that most people can already get elsewhere, either on a computer or included on their mobile phone (without having to wear a bulky annoying watch). When asked about it at DEMOmobile, Microsoft insisted they were standing by SPOT, and they showed that today by introducing new SPOT watches made by the ultimate in watch has-beens, Swatch.
