Mobile Phone Only Polls?
There have been a few different articles, recently, speculating that political polls may not be very accurate due to the fact that pollsters only target landlines, and a growing number of people no longer have landline phones. In response, one newspaper is going the other direction and trying to take a poll by SMS. To get people to agree, they're providing those who agree to participate a mobile coupon for a free meal and a chance to win other prizes. I'm not so sure that only focusing on mobile users (or bribing them with prizes) is likely to lead to that predictive a survey either.
