AT&T Wireless Adds Cashless Transactions
For a company about to be acquired, AT&T Wireless sure isn't shying away from announcing new offerings. The latest is that they're jumping on the cashless transaction system bandwagon, making it easier to let people buy stuff with their phones. We've noted before that AT&T Wireless may actually be one of the most forward thinking carriers when it comes to their view of offering data services and applications, so maybe this is just one more example. Still, it seems odd that they seem to have major announcements every other day or so as they wait for the official word that Cingular is, in fact, their new overlords.
