FeliCa Mobile Commerce In Japan
Sony Corp signed a deal with KDDI this week to offer the FeliCa mobile commerce RFID payment solution to KDDI subscribers. FeLiCa will allow users to make payments with the phone, and to manage accounts over the data network. DoCoMo launched their FeliCa service in June. All of this would be news if KDDI hadn't already "endorsed" FeliCa last year.
