Forget No WiFi, It's Now Bad WiFi That Sends Customers Packing
For a while there was talk about whether or not WiFi was a necessary amenity for hotels to offer travelers. However, now that most hotels have realized that they at least need to have some plan in place, new studies are pointing out that it need to be about a lot more than just intent. They've found that badly implemented WiFi can be very damaging, sending customers elsewhere. And, considering the experiences we've had with hotel WiFi, it seems like a lot of hotels need to learn this lesson. Still, it's a good sign that the industry has gotten past the "should we do it?" debate to the discussions about doing it right.
