Microsoft And Sendo Settle Differences

A few years ago, Sendo was set to become the first handset makers to use Microsoft's mobile OS (codenamed Stinger, at the time), but surprised many people by dropping Microsoft for Symbian about the same time they had been expected to launch. This was especially surprising considering that Microsoft had invested in Sendo, and the two had spent a lot of time promoting the relationship. Either way, a month later, Sendo sued Microsoft, claiming that Microsoft took Sendo trade secrets and gave them to other handset makers. Two years later, that lawsuit has finally been settled. Details of the settlement haven't been given, but Microsoft is giving up their 4% stake in the company, and you can bet they're probably throwing in some cash to make this whole deal go away -- which is pretty standard for Microsoft's various lawsuits lately.
