Cingular Agrees To The Obvious
In a move that will surprise approximately no one, Cingular has agreed to give up the AT&T Wireless name six months after they complete their acquisition of the company. It's been pretty clear from the beginning that this was the plan. The only thing this announcement does is clarify the timing for the name to revert back to AT&T (though, they may not want to do anything with it, considering the state in which it's bein returned).
