Aggregator Of Aggregators?

As more and more people are coming to the realization that free WiFi is the way to go (and using that to promote something else), some are still insisting that there's money in the paid space. Today, there's a story about Infonet, a provider that has some of its own hotspots, but also piggybacks on other aggregators like Boingo, WeRoam and GoRemote. And people are wondering why hotspots are so expensive? Let's see... If I'm using Infonet to get on a Boingo hotspot, we now have to take some of my money to (1) pay Infonet (2) pay Boingo (3) pay the actual hotspot provider (4) pay the location. Think there are too many hands in the pie?
