Verizon Wireless' Great New BREW App: Rating Other BREW Apps!

VZW has offered a new BREW download called WGamer.com for a mere $3 a month. So what does this pricey BREW app do? According to VZW, it "gives gamers access to mobile gaming advice and reviews. WGamer.com is designed to enable gamers to search for game review by rating, new releases, popular picks, category and name." You can take that however you want, but I'd find it galling to pay for what basically amounts to a marketing message. Isn't that like showing up at a restaurant, and getting charged to look at the menu? But in the carrier's defense, people have been buying gaming magazines off the rack for years.
