Yahoo Launches Photo Upload for Camera Phones
Yahoo today launched a service that allows users with a Yahoo! account and a camera phone to upload their snapshots to their Yahoo! web-based photo album. The service is offered for free, but depending on the carrier, some users may pay a data-transfer fee to move the bits. The service works alone, or together with another Yahoo! mobile app released last year which allows Yahoo! subscribers to view their web photo albums on select carrier's mobile phones (ex: Sprint PCS, AWE).
