Going Overboard On Wireless Security Fears
We all know that there are issues concerning WiFi security, but much of the reporting on the topic has been ridiculous -- with over the top stories about how hackers are going to steal everything on your laptop (and in your bank account) if you dare to use a WiFi connection. Obviously, there are issues, but careful users should have little to fear. However, all the WiFi security FUD is having an impact, as some people are even saying they won't install a WiFi card out of fear over the security issue.
