Working On The Road
Richard Hoy submitted a link to his own WirelessTrips.com blog, which is chronicling how he and his family are taking a road trip in an RV while trying to remain connected. The most interesting part is that they're trying to do this while keeping the family's online business up and running. They're making use of WiFi in RV parks when available, and backing it up with cellular connections when necessary. Looks like an interesting experiment. Having done a lot of working while traveling (though, not in an RV) it is an interesting experience knowing that all you need to be productive is a laptop and a wireless connection. The problem is just finding that damn wireless connection (and making sure the laptop doesn't die).
