Good Raises More Cash

Continuing the good battle against RIM, Good Technology has just raked in $45 million more in VC funds. There have been a lot of stories of companies ditching RIM for Good lately, and RIM is trying to battle back by emphasizing how their software can be used on alternate platforms - something we thought they should have done long ago. The more interesting question is whether or not either company will end up making it on its own, or if they'll end up becoming a cog in a larger machine. Realistically, both are focused on making the process of getting corporate email on devices easier and that may eventually just become a piece of a much larger business - whether from the email side or the overall wireless access side.
