Games Driving Handset Sales In India
In what must be music to the handset makers' ears, this article talks about young folks in India who are trading up to newer handsets on a fairly frequent basis just so they can play the new games that are available on that handset. Of course, the article is a little unclear if they're talking about the pre-installed games on a handset or downloadable games. It seems like they may be confusing the two, as they definitely talk about downloadable games - but that should be less of a reason to change handsets, assuming (perhaps incorrectly) that you can get the same, or similar, games on a variety of handsets.
