Everyone Nipping At Nokia
With Nokia pointing out that they were having some difficulties recently, it appears others have stepped up to fill in the gap (showing the problems were not industry wide, but specific to Nokia's decisions). Last week Samsung showed that they were growing their phone business, and now Sony Ericsson says they've grabbed a larger percentage of the worldwide handset market last quarter. Nokia still believes they'll fill the "holes" in their lineup, but it's a good reminder that as big a lead as Nokia has, they're certainly not invincible - and could even be quite vulnerable.
