Dial-That-Tune Finally Here - But A Bit Pricey

While companies like Shazam have been around forever, it appears that they're finally gaining some traction with a deal to provide their song-recognition technology to AT&T Wireless, allowing users to dial a specific number, hold their phone up to a speaker and have the system send them a text message with the name of the song and the artist playing it. Of course, AT&T Wireless eventually plans to charge $1 per tune check, which seems a bit ridiculous when you consider the fact that downloading a song from something like iTunes costs $1 itself these days. It's a nice add-on, but it seems unlikely that people are all that willing to shell out a $1 each time they want to know the name of a song.
