Warner Bros. Content On European Phones
Warner Brothers and Vodafone are making news this morning for coming to an agreement to take Warner Bros. content and offer it on European phones in the form of games, screen savers and ring tones. Once again, I don't think this is a very big deal. As much as the folks at Warner Brothers like to believe it is, most people still use their mobile phones to communicate with others - and not to be passive receivers of content. Yes, people will play the games and buy the ringtones, but it's not likely to be that big a deal.
