Intel Says No To China's WiFi Rules

Intel has (probably wisely) decided that it's just not worth it to develop applications based on China's own brand of WiFi encryption. This is a pretty big statement from the company who does an awful lot of business in China, but doesn't like the idea of (a) working on a new and different standard and (b) needing to partner with one of the local companies that have access to the standard. While there have been plenty of complaints, there still hasn't been any sign that China has any plans to back down from these plans.
