Downtown Detroit To Go Wireless
While a number of smaller and mid-sized cities have set up plans to cover their downtown areas with WiFi, it seems like Detroit is one of the bigger ones, and they aren't getting that much press for the announcement. It's part of the effort to revitalize Detroit, a city that has certainly seen better days. It's not entirely clear how it's going to be paid for, but it sounds like they're hoping downtown businesses will help out. This makes sense, as it would only be to their benefit.
