A Week Of Wandering WiFi In The UK
A reporter set out last week to check out different WiFi hotspots around London each day of the week. The results are pretty much what you'd expect if you're a typical hotspot user. Things didn't work out so great. Sometimes they worked fine, but other times there were hassles involved. Also, just because you can work some place doesn't mean you'll want to be working there. Yet another reminder that as wonderful as WiFi is, the whole roaming hotspot thing is still very much in the early adopter mode.
