Visual Radio On Your Phone?
There have been plenty of stories about TV on mobile phones, but now Nokia is getting ready to launch visual FM radio on mobile phones that would let radio stations pass along images to mobile phones along with the radio stations. I wonder how many stations are interested in doing this? Already, radio stations need to figure out if they feel like offering up digital radio information, and now Nokia wants them to do more work for a limited audience? It'll be interesting to see if this goes anywhere, but there are plenty of questions (from both the radio station side and the end-user side) about whether or not this will be adopted.
