Cloudmark Spam Filtering Goes Mobile
As the threat of mobile spam increases, it looks like some anti-spam firms are readying their technology for expansion. Cloudmark made some news today by doing a deal to bundle their software with Openwave's email platform. Of course, the article seems to confuse the blocking of email spam to mobile phones with blocking text messaging spam. In this case, the offering is designed to block email spam, and not text messaging spam - which is the real worry.
