2003 A Banner Year For Handset Sales
The results have been counted, and reports released by a bevy of bean counters, and its now in the books that 2003 was the best year ever for mobile handset sales, topping a half Billion phones. Although the year started out slowly, the latter half of the year was like gangbusters, as new subscribers joined the wireless market, and existing subscribers upgraded their phone (or carrier!) The bean counters are predicting 2004 will produce even higher growth.
