Spying On Your Kids... By Text
the latest method to use location based services to spy on your kids is to do it by text message. The service, called Text Track, lets a parent send a "secret" SMS message which bounces back a message revealing their kids location. Parents can also set up a system of "forbidden zones" where an alarm SMS will be sent to them should they enter that area. Some are already concerned about the privacy implications, pointing out that, as the system is currently set up, stalkers can track people this way as well. Also, generally speaking, I still think it sends the wrong message to your kids to spy on them without their knowledge.
