Mobile Phones, Digital Cameras Help Us Connect
While the headline that's used in this Canadian Press article is a little misleading (it only mentions digital cameras, and not all the other technology mentioned in the story), here's a good article about how technology is helping people to better connect with each other, which includes a section on how many parents feel much more secure knowing their kids are out with camera phones. In other words, despite all the negative talk about how evil camera phones must be, here's an example where camera phones are giving people much more freedom while also bringing families and friends closer together.
