Letting You See Your Word Documents On Your Phone
Who needs a PC at all any more? Or even a smartphone? Sharp and Bitflash have come up with a system that will let you view whole documents on your mobile phone. It works by turning the document, spreadsheet or presentation into its own format which can be viewed on the phone. Others have attempted very similar offerings in the past, though, and they haven't made it very far - so it's unclear if this will take off too. However, I will say that this one has a pretty cool feature: it can zoom, since it's in a scalable vector format. That, as you might imagine, could be especially useful given the form factor and the quality of the screens - but only if you're really in a situation where you need to be staring at a PowerPoint presentation on your mobile phone, which might not be that often.
