Yahoo! Photo Albums On Sprint PCS Phones
Sprint Vision subscribers with Java-enabled handsets will now be able to access their Yahoo! Photos photo albums from their mobile phone. This is a neat application that allows a large number of photos to be readily accessed from the mobile phone for showing-off to friends and family. This service brings photos to non-camera phones, and continues a trend we observe at Techdirt of mobile content that is created by the customer, not by a media giant. Sprint PCS will charge existing Vision customers $3 a month for the service, which may be on the high side.
