AT&T Wireless Buys Part Of US Cellular Network

Okay, so it's not quite the big deal that everyone's been waiting for, but AT&T Wireless announced today that they've U.S. Cellular's wireless phone business in South Texas which serves 74,000 customers for $95 million. US Cellular is trying to get out of geographic areas that are far removed from the rest of their service. This isn't the first time the two companies have dealt with each other either. However, on a slow news day, when everyone's waiting to find out who buys whom, this is what gets picked up.

    Ok...that great but leave the rest of us US CELLULARS ALONE!!!

    Why would we want you to buy us completly out and then raise the prices cause then we would have no other choice but to use you.....Would like to have the phones that you all have...but our service is good and doesn't cost us a arm and leg to have....
