Rogers AT&T Wireless Trials EDGE North Of The Border
Rogers AT&T Wireless, the Canadian mobile phone company that is about 1/3 owned by AT&T Wireless has announced that they're now testing out an EDGE service in Vancouver, with plans to roll it out nationally sometime next year. This isn't new or surprising, but just posting it to note that there are a lot of EDGE-related stories suddenly popping up, which is only likely to push other GPRS operators to jump on the EDGE bandwagon as they figure out what to do about a real 3G offering.
