I'll tell you right now: don't read this article about how all sides in the Wireless Local Number Portability issue are scrambling to advance their cause. Politicians are politicking, carriers are lobbying, the CTIA is spreading FUD, Verizon is playing a hedge, and only Consumer's Union is speaking for the consumer. All in all, nothing is happening. Expect to hear a lot more noise but not much of real import over the next few weeks.
