Sony Looking To Embed Smart Chips In Phones

Yet another step in the move towards making your mobile phone your wallet, is the news that Sony is looking at ways to embed their EDY smartcard payment solution into mobile phones directly. The rumor is that they're looking to work with DoCoMo on this offering, which makes sense, though DoCoMo has no comment (of course).
