T-Mobile To Help Secure WiFi Data
Glenn Fleishman over at WiFi Network News has a bit of a teaser about more details coming out later today saying that T-Mobile is going to offer 802.1X authentication to secure WiFi connections. Basically, this would help solve a large part of the "WiFi security problem" that the industry hasn't done much about until now. It's definitely good to see people moving forward with such efforts. Here's the short blurb in the Seattle Times about this announcement, as well. Update: Doing a little poking around and more details are out in a few places. This is good news, and hopefully other providers will follow suit.
