RIM Scores Two New Licensees
RIM has been wisely moving away from a hardware focus to a software licensing focus. Today, we learn that they have scored two new licensees in Motorola and SonyEricsson. With RIM stock up 4%, the only bad news is that previous licensee Nokia will not be offering devices with RIM Blackberry functionality in the US until the (we think) parasitic NTP lawsuit is resolved.
