Cingular Gets NextWave Spectrum
While there had been some speculation that Verizon Wireless would come in and try to upset Cingular's deal with NextWave, as we predicted that never happened. NextWave is now claiming that the only qualified bid they received was from Cingular, suggesting that the talk of Verizon Wireless entering the fray was simply talk from the company to try to upset Cingular a bit.
