Is One Unwired Day Too Little?
Last month when Intel announced their big "One Unwired Day" promotion, I didn't think it was that big of a deal. There are a ton of free hotspots out there already. Are people really going to go out and find a few extra that are free just for the day because Intel says so? News.com is now wondering the same thing and is pointing out that the idea of specially free WiFi for a single day isn't likely to get very much usage. They wonder what's wrong with having "One Unwired Month" instead - where people might actually experiment with WiFi as their own schedule permits.
