Docs' Cell Phones May Spread Hospital Infections
I've heard stories of hospitals banning mobile phones because they're afraid that the phones will interfere with medical equipment. However, here's a warning that might be much more serious. A new study has found that infectious agents can travel by mobile phone in a hospital. That is, as a doctor goes through a hospital, the phone may pick up some nasty germs and take them along for the ride. Time to make a sterilized mobile phone.
