Access Your PC From Your Mobile Phone

While most mobile offerings look for ways to synchronize files between a mobile device and a PC, a researcher started wondering why they couldn't just be the same files all the time. The idea was to create a PCAnywhere style solution for mobile phones. The guy created a nifty piece of software that supposedly makes it easy for mobile phones to access PC files via SMS. You just install a piece of server software on the PC and you've got access. When the guy is asked how come no one else has come up with this, he points out that all the big players are more interested in walled gardens than letting you get data from anywhere.
