Is Getting Canned Voicemail From Stars Really That Appealing?
Maybe I'm just too cynical. However, I don't really see the appeal of a newly launched service that will let mobile phone users receive canned voicemail messages from their favorite sports stars in the UK. Now, I know that football (soccer, for those of us in the US) is hugely popular, but receiving a canned voice mail message doesn't seem likely to connect me any closer to the team. I may be a huge baseball fan (seriously, bordering on obsession), but I really have no desire to hear a recorded message from any baseball player.
