MMS Interconnection Service Launched
Because the various wireless carriers couldn't get their act together and realize from the beginning that MMS interoperability is a necessity, we apparently need a service like the new one just launched by InphoMatch. It will take an MMS message from one carrier, dump it on the internet somewhere, send an SMS alert to the recipient, who will then have to get on the internet to retrieve the message. Sounds like it takes away plenty of the benefit of MMS, but at least it lets people communicate across carriers.
