Got your tri-band mobile phone all packed up and ready for your trip to Tokyo? Well, even with those wonderful three bands, you're unlikely to find any service, so the International Herald Tribune has a good article about renting a roaming phone while in Japan, including telling you what to expect if you want to test out DoCoMo's 3G FOMA service (um... expect to pay more, basically).
