Emachines Goes Wireless - Does Anyone Care?
Emachines, the cheap PC maker announced today that they're adding WiFi (of the 802.11g variety) to their laptops. What struck me about this story is that I was surprised anyone would bother writing an article about it. Haven't we passed the point where it's interesting to hear about yet another laptop provider offering WiFi on their laptops? These days, it's becoming almost impossible to find a new laptop that doesn't include WiFi. In fact, I'm more surprised that it took Emachines this long to figure it out.
