SMS Messaging Improves Debt Collection
While police have found SMS messaging effective in getting criminals to give up mobile phones, debt collectors have picked up on a similar idea. They say that SMS text messaging yields more success than conventional means of getting in touch with debtors. They say it seems more personal, and makes the debtor feel "tracked down".
